Yeah, Amazing Race is back. It is coming on Feb. 14th. I can't wait. You all know that it is the best show on TV hands down. There are going to be some familiar faces.

Reupholstered Chairs
Elizabeth and I reupholstered the dinning room chairs on New Years. I never really liked the old material and they were really stained. Here is a picture of the new blue strips, the middle, and the old cream. I realized that the strips are a little crooked, but oh well. They look much better. It took a really long time, they each had 3 to 4 times too many staples in them. If anyone one needs to borrow the tool to take staples out, or tacks, I have two. Maybe Mom and Dad's old chairs can be our next project. I would choose a solid color, or at least not strips in case they go crooked.

Another oldie but goodie

I bought a slide scanner for Christmas. The images were not good, so I returned it. You all know I never return anything, but it was 100 buck,s so I did. This one did not turn out too bad, although the slide looks much better. I love how Diane's hands look exactly the same just adult size now.
I am looking for the best place to have the slided professionally scanned, but not all because it is expensive. Does anyone want to do some research with me and tell me what they think.
