Hubble Telescope pictures

While we were visiting the birthplace of Joseph Smith, they had an exhibition of some of the images from the hubble telescope. I had seen some of these online before, but it was a whole nother experience to see them blown up to gallery size. Here are my small copies. It makes you will big and small all at the same time, knowing there is so much out there and that it continues to expand.

New Post

Since Angel has not updated her blog, here is a picture of Katelyn for all her fans. I know that it is quite old. I wonder if she has more hair, but don't know since I have not seen a recent photo, Angel :)

Pictures

On Labor Day weekend I got some more slides and pictures to scan into the computer. Mom looked a this picture for a while and this is what was said:
Mom: I don't know who is in the picture.
Me: MOM, pause, that is grandma, you , Amanda, and Megan.
Mom, taking the picture back, Oh, I guess your right.
This might be a sign, Angel says Mom is developing alzheimer's, or maybe she had just looked at too many pictures, we looked at hundreds that day. BTW, this is Megan's baptism day.

I wonder what Henry's life would have turned out to be, but I wonder more about what exactly it is like for him in Heaven- Wouldn't a glimpse be fascinating. I look forward to the day I get to see him again.

Cruise to Mexico

We had a great time on our cruise. I would recommend it and will do it again. Here are the pictures in random order.

Our dinner mates, we lucked out and had a good group. The couple on the left were from Virginia, behind us are the servers, the next family was from Saskatchewan, and the Mom and daughters were from Toronto. The food was really good.

I cabin steward made us 2 "pets".

The told you what day it was in the elevator. I thought it was neat and funny at the same time.

We had breakfast in the casual dinning area outside each morning, except for one. The first day I saw dolphins, no pictures though. Ruth was up getting her food so she missed them.

Sunrise, the first time in a long time that I have seen it.

The Moon-Pretty!

The sound of the waves were awesome. We kept our balcony door open at night, except for one-it was too hot!

View of the bridge from our balcony, travelling down the river.

Yes the bathroom was tiny, but you didn't fell cramped except for the shower could have used a little more room.

Flat Hair

I got my hair cut a few weeks ago. She flat ironed it and this is the straightest I ever remember it. Yes, I do go most everywhere with no makeup on.
